- LevelUpTuts - CSS Tutorials, numbers 1 through 15. These are optional, but we recommend watching if you were confused during class. Watch these before completing free code camp exercises or working on the project.
- learn.freecodecamp.org - complete the Basic CSS section under “Responsive Web Design Certification”. Skip the last 7 sections on CSS variables and media queries. These are for your benefit so if you already feel comfortable with an exercise then you can skip.

- We’ve updated “how to create new pages on GitHub” (found here) to include an important final step
- Rather than make a new repository for each project, feel free to make folders in your “[username].github.io” folder and publish that way, if that is easier

- Create an Are.na account and link to it on your main GitHub page. Save at least one website that you like or find interesting to your Are.na page. If you need a place to start, look at some of the links on the resources page. Come to class prepared to discuss your choice.

- You don’t have to get through the whole thing but it is a fun read so make sure you scroll through
- The Vernacular Web by Olia Lialina
- To progress through the piece make sure you click on the arrow button in the bottom right hand corner
- Remember to come prepared with 1-2 questions for discussion.
- Coding Practice
- Sign up for learn.freecodecamp.org and do the Introduction to Basic HTML and HTML5 lessons, which can be found here. You can skip the lessons between “Create a Text Field” and “Check Radio Buttons and Checkboxes by Default”. When you are done, review semantic HTML here.
